best paneer momo recipe / how to make paneer momo recipe

Paneer momos is a famous street food all over the world. Paneer momos is the best alternative for chicken/mutton and for the people who are vegetarian. Paneer momos are very juicy and treat to mouth.

Total Time 45 minutes
Serve : 2 person

Ingredients
  •  Dough:
1 cup Wheat flour
1 pinch Salt
Water – as needed
Mix these and make a soft dough. Remember it shouldn’t too soft or too hard
  • Mixture :
1 cup crushed paneer
2 pcs Onion
1 tbsp Ginger paste or finely chopped
2 tbsp Garlic paste or finely chopped
3/4 tbsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tbsp Garam masala powder
1/4 tbsp Turmeric
Chopped Coriander leaves as per your desire
2 pcs crushed pepper
2 tsp refine Oil
Salt – As needed
Ajino motto(optional)- it increase the flavour of the paneer momos

Instructions

Step 1: 
  • Heat a pan with oil. Add ginger and garlic paste. Fry in low flame for a minute.
  • Add finely chopped onion and fry it until transparent or get golden brown
  • Follow by red chilli powder, garam masala powder, pepper,turmeric and salt. Give it a stir.
  • Add the crushed paneer and fry until oil separates.
  • Add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Switch off the flame. Let it cool down.
Step 2: 
         Make the dough balls and roll the balls  into a circle say 3-4 inch

Step 3:
        Now take out the rolled dough  and add 1 tbsp paneer mixtures into it and shape the momos by closing its corner so that it is completely sealed

Step 4:

        Heat a steamer with water at the below and steam the momos on top of it  for 12minutes or until the momos seems shinny

( if using electrical steamer add steam paneer momos for 10 minutes)

Step 5 :
       Now place the paneer momos to Steamer Bamboo Box and serve hot
