Chicken Sekuwa Recipe is a popular street food mostly liked in India and Nepal. Traditionally it is cooked on an open charcoal grill, but we will make in a gas flame for home cooking.

Ingredients:
1.    Boneless chickens cubes-250gms
2.    Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbs each
3.    Garam masala-1/2 tbs
4.    Turmeric powder- one pinch
5.    Lemon juice-2tbs
6.    Coriander powder-1 tbs
7.    Tomato and chilli sauce-1tbs each

How to make Nepalese Chicken Sekuwa Recipe:

Making Chicken Sekuwa Recipe requires overnight marination for best results so you can plan this dish in advance.
If not marinate for like half an hour.

Let’s start,
  •  Thoroughly wash and clean the chicken. Next cut them into 2 inch cubes.
  •    In a mixing bowl, marinate the chicken along ginger- garlic paste, salt , garam masala powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice coriander powder
  • Cover the bowl with a cling wrap and let it marinate in the fridge for half an hour
  •  Now, insert the marinate chicken in a metal rod for cooking. Turn on the gas and on medium flame cook the chicken till it get brown. It may take 15-20 minutes ensuring it not overcooked or burnt.
  • Chicken Sekuwa is ready now but before serving brush them with some melted butter for better taste.


Serve Chicken Sekuwa Recipe hot with some onion & lemon pieces along with Pudina Chutney or dhaniya chutney………………..Enjoy!
