Indian chicken curry

An indian chicken curry is the ultimate crowd pleaser and an absolute must-have on an Indian dinner party menu. Indian Chicken Curry is savory, creamy, and a little bit spicy, made with chicken breast piece, diced tomatoes, and seasoning. I like to serve this Indian curry dish over basmati rice, with salads. You can also serve with naan instead of rice.

Ingredients for chicken curry:
  • ·         Chicken pieces-250 gms
  • ·         Cumin seeds-½ tbsp
  •           Cloves and cardamom(ellaichi) -3 pcs each
  •           Bay leaf(tejpatta)- 2 pcs
  • ·         Onions- 3 pcs thin sliced
  • ·         Ginger garlic paste- 2tbsp
  • ·         Mustard oil-3 tbsp(small)
  • ·         Tomato: 2 pcs thin sliced
  • ·         Garam masala- ½ tbsp.
  • ·         Chicken masala- 1-2 tbsp
  • ·         Salt as per taste
  • ·         Coriander leaf chopped

How to make chicken curry:
  • ·         Take a pan(kadhai) and heat in gas
  • ·         Put mustard oil in the pan and heat till the smoke comes out
  • ·         Add bay leaf,cumin seed,cloves and cardamom 
  •           Now add  thin sliced onions, fry it at medium pace till it get light brown.
  • ·         Add chicken pieces to it and fry for about 10 min till it get brown
  • ·         Add ginger garlic paste,sliced tomato,chicken masala to it
  •           fry for 5 min at  medium flame
  • ·         Now add garam masala, and a glass of water(as per your requirement)
  • ·         Cover the pan with a lit and make it cook for 5 min.
  • ·         Now off the gas and add chopped coriander leaf to it
  • ·         Now serve with rice or naan.

Suggestion: Eat the indian chicken curry with basmati rice when its hot!
