Grilled chicken tikka is a form of Chicken tikka originating in the Indian subcontinent; the dish is popular in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. and now a days its more popular in nepal territory too.Grilled chicken tikka is traditionally small pieces of boneless chicken baked using skewers on a GRILL after marinating in Indian spices and dahi (yogurt)—essentially a boneless version of tandoori chicken.

serves 4 people
marinate time: 1-2 hrs
INGREDIENTS
- 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts. cut it into 2 inch piece
- 1 tbsp garlic garlic paste each
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1⁄2 tbsp ground cumin
- 1⁄2 tbsp ground turmeric
- 2 1⁄2 tbsp pepper
- 1⁄3 tbsp salt
- 1⁄3 melted butter or olive oil
how to cook grilled chicken tikka:
- Clean your chicken, and take a fork and prick the chicken many times in such a way that lemon enters into it.
- Put lemon juice in bowl with chicken, stir well, and set it aside.
- In a large bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, ginger, cumin, turmeric, pepper and salt
- Place the chicken in the bowl with the marinade, and marinate for at least 1-2 hrs
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- Heat your grill with a nice flame and place chicken skewers on the grill.
- Brush the chicken with butter or olive oil, and grill approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until done.
- Once you have grilled one side for 5 minutes, turn them over and brush with butter or olive oil, and grill 5 more minutes or until done.
- Serve with coriander chutney or chilli sauce and healthy salads..........enjoy!
